Gatffest
The GATFFEST Film Festival (formerly the Greater August Town Film Festival) originated from the Greater August Town Film Project, now re-branded as the UWI Community Film Project. GATFFEST was created as an outlet for graduates of the UWI Community Film Project to showcase the films that were produced during the training course. The inaugural annual Greater August Town Film Festival (GATFFEST) was held in June 2013 and included films from inner-city youths who graduated from the film project. The event screened their work along with that of other local and international independent filmmakers. Since that time, the four-day festival has been jointly held at The University of the West Indies and the Edna Manley School for Visual and Performing Arts.
